At the end of a practice session of French Supermoto Championship, Laurent Fath does a start test before leaving the track.

Laurent Fath is a Supermoto rider with team Luc1 Owatrol Honda. He has been competing in the French Supermoto Championship in S1 class, the highest level. He finished second behind Sylvain Bidart in 2015, and third behind Thomas Chareyre and Sylvain Bidart in 2016.

On 11 and 12 June 2016, round 4 of French Supermoto Championship took place in Cournon d’Auvergne. At the end of the morning on the Sunday, Laurent Fath was taking part in the warm-up session. This practice session allows riders to get a feel for the track, and to test a few settings if necessary. After completing the session, and right before leaving the track, Laurent did a start test. I took the shot right as he was starting to roll. The energy and power that come through this picture are impressive. Laurent is leaning forward on his bike to prevent it from nosing up. The position of the right foot as it is leaving the ground and the overall attitude are just ideal for the picture.
