Starting grid
Tristan Ducamp (foreground) on the grid and Théo Lafourcade (right, out of focus), shot with a 50mm lens a few seconds before the start of the Challenger series race on May 5, 2024. I really like the bokeh of this lens. I wanted a more dynamic shot of the start. What interested me was the subsequent shots in the burst. But focusing with Live View is too slow on the D850, and the photos are out of focus. Next time I’ll try it out with the Z8 – I resisted the switch to mirrorless for a while, but now I’m a convert.
