Thomas Chareyre: The Rider Who Shaped a Generation of Supermoto

Today, a chapter closes in the history of supermoto. Thomas Chareyre, rightfully nicknamed “The Legend,” hangs up his helmet after an exceptional 22-year career. For many of us, myself included, supermoto without Thomas Chareyre is almost unimaginable. He was already featured in my first photos of the sport 14 years ago.

The numbers speak for themselves: 8 World Championship titles, 12 Team World Championship titles, 3 European Championship titles, and 8 French Championship titles, among others. But beyond these impressive results, it’s the man we salute today: Thomas has always embodied the very essence of a professional rider. His humanity, humility, and professionalism have made him a role model for an entire generation of riders, both in France and abroad. For more than two decades, supermoto has shone thanks to Thomas’s immense talent.

As he turns this page, we can only thank him for everything he has brought to this magnificent sport. His legacy will endure for a long time in the hearts of enthusiasts and on tracks around the world.

We wish you a long and active retirement, always involved in supermoto, of course!
