Best of Val d’Argenton 2026

The Val d’Argenton race track (Deux-Sèvres, France) hosted the opening round of the 2026 French Supermotard Championship on April 25-26, 2026, under bright spring sunshine and for the third consecutive year.

A season opener is always a special moment to photograph: the energy of reunions, but also many newcomers, the renewed focus of riders for their official portrait, the first lights of the year on the paddocks. Several visual novelties marked this first round: the return of an official Suzuki team in the paddock, with its bright yellow livery that hadn’t been seen on the championship’s tracks for several years; and the growing presence of Stark electric bikes, with Adrien Lamour in Elite S1 riding a machine whose aesthetic is genuinely new — clean, quiet, with a singular presence.

Here is a personal selection of my favorite shots. You can find my full photo coverage on the official website for the French Supermoto Championship.
